- Managers: A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:
- Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
- The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
- The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.
“Patricia Wendy worked extensively with a client experiencing abuse. Patricia worked with community partners to assist the client to move into safe housing. The client expressed that Patricia is kind, caring and understanding and thanked everyone who was involved in assisting her. While this is a challenging situation, Patricia handled it diligently and professionally. Well done Patricia!”

“Lisa Rae has been a tremendous help to the KMOW team during the winter months, when so many volunteers are away on holidays. It can be stressful for the staff of KMOW to find available volunteers to deliver meals. Lisa’s quick actions to look for help in the community and beyond hasn’t gone unnoticed. Thanks to Lisa and her team, every Friday from January to March we have staff from UJA delivering two routes. Some of the corporate organizations have taken on an extra few days this winter to help our clients. The program also signed on quite a few new volunteers at the beginning of winter due to Lisa’s effort in advertising in the community. Thank you Lisa!”
“Thank you to Anna Vorobyovsky and Zainul Makani for working so well as a team. It is a pleasure to hear them collaborate, stepping up & volunteering when they see a need, and making sure visits are placed and workers have schedules. Their efforts have had a tremendous impact, and are so very much appreciated. ”

“I’d like to nominate Carolyn Zheng for welcoming me on a client visit tour as part of my onboarding to a new role in Circle of Care. It was a great learning opportunity for me to see how Carolyn interacts with such care and empathy with her clients. She was very helpful in helping me understand the CSS role and juggled her case load while answering my questions during our time out in the community. Thank you Carolyn for welcoming me with such openness and helping me to learn the role of our nurses!”
“I am so appreciative of services provided by Circle of Care coordinator Yulia Ioffe. Thank you Yulia for your kindness and support during my father-in-law’s time at home. When the days are long and the rewards are hard to see, I want Circle of Care to know that our family is deeply and sincerely appreciative to Yulia for going above and beyond in order to accommodate our needs and schedule. Thank you Yulia for seeing those in your care as a whole person.”
“A huge thank you to Valentina Burman for an incredible effort helping her coworkers in Client Services over the last month! Val has really stepped up, working many after hours shifts, assisting her coworkers in scheduling, and maintaining a positive outlook. It has been truly appreciated. Thanks, Valentina.”
