New Hire – Preceptor Checklist<\/h3>\n

  • Ensure New PSW is wearing COFC ID and adheres to COFC dress code.<\/li>\n
  • Review client identification on mobile device<\/li>\n
  • Review effective use Service with HEART and Two Factor Authentication<\/li>\n
  • Review the reporting Requirement of NSNF\/ risk events\/ clients health status\/ FALLS<\/li>\n
  • Process of reporting sick calls<\/li>\n
  • Review of checking their VM and Schedule expectation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    During Shadow Visit<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Introduce to the client<\/li>\n
    • Review client identification on mobile device<\/li>\n
    • Log in and log out expectations- Teach PSW how and when to Log in and out.<\/li>\n
    • Review where to find care plan and mobile app notes.
      \n– What to do if a client has no care plan in place.<\/li>\n
    • Check for any infectious diseases alert<\/li>\n
    • Perform 4 points of Hand Hygiene<\/li>\n
    • DON PPE as per organizational requirement<\/li>\n
    • Complete client care as per care plan<\/li>\n
    • Review safety equipment (if applicable) \u2013 Ensure bathroom\/ transfer equipment in place and report if CSS intervention is required.<\/li>\n
