As snow and ice appear on sidewalks, driveways, and steps, please take extra care to keep yourself safe while out in the community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"470\" data-end=\"506\"><strong data-start=\"470\" data-end=\"506\">Prevent Slips, Trips, and Falls:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"1325\">\n<li data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"629\">\n<p data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"629\"><strong data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"529\">Watch your step:<\/strong> Be alert for icy patches, wet floors, or uneven surfaces when walking outdoors or entering homes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"768\">\n<p data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"768\"><strong data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"651\">Take your time:<\/strong> Rushing increases the risk of falling.
