Check for updates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.ca\/home\/311-toronto-at-your-service\/find-service-information\/article\/?kb=kA06g000001cwZGCAY\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Leave extra travel time. Do not rush \u2013 your safety comes first. We will let our clients know to expect delays.<\/li>\n<li>Wear your staff badge at all times<\/li>\n<li>Keep your cell phone ON and with you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Health &amp; Safety<\/h4>\n<p>Large crowds increase the spread of illness. Clean your hands often and use PPE as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Public Health Ontario has advised that <strong>measles risk may increase<\/strong> during this time because of more international visitors.<\/p>\n<p>At every visit, you already check for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n<li>Cough<\/li>\n<li>New rash<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>New symptom to watch for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Small <strong>blue-white spots inside the mouth<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What to Do if You Suspect Measles<\/h4>\n<p>If a client has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fever + cough <strong>AND<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Blue-white spots in the mouth <strong>OR<\/strong> Red rash starting on the face and spreading down<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Treat as possible measles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Put on full PPE:\n<ul>\n<li>Gloves<\/li>\n<li>Gown<\/li>\n<li>Eye protection<\/li>\n<li><strong>N95 respirator<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure you always bring enough PPE to every visit<\/li>\n<li>Report to the office right away so an alert can be added in EasyCare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for your hard work during this busy time.
