Just because we&#8217;re practicing social distancing doesn&#8217;t mean we can&#8217;t go outside.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch up by phone with someone you haven&#8217;t talked to in a while<\/strong>. Plan ahead and put it on your calendar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use exercise to take your mind off your worries<\/strong>. Exercise can be a great distraction. There are many great exercise programs that you can access on YouTube.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pursue a hobby or interest<\/strong>. Look for a new pursuit that&#8217;s so absorbing you won&#8217;t miss the news. Almost any fresh and fun activity can be invigorating &#8211; reading, cooking, learning to play a musical instrument, or speak another language.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focus on self-care.<\/strong> Give yourself the luxury of some time doing only what you want to do.
