All parents are eligible if you have a child who is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged 0 to 12 ($200 per child)<\/li>\n<li>Aged 0 to 21 with special needs ($250 per child)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Before you apply, please note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>only one parent can apply for each child<\/li>\n<li>the parent who applies should have custody of the child<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How do I access the payment?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/PCmZF-2Og83CA7gZnlWRhg~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRgbKV2P0QoaHR0cDovL3d3dy5vbnRhcmlvLmNhL1N1cHBvcnRGb3JGYW1pbGllc1cHc2Nob29sbUIKAAD2cYteFnM18lIZbGRlc291c2FAY2lyY2xlb2ZjYXJlLmNvbVgEAAAAAg~~\">Complete a online application at Ontario&#8217;s Support for Families\u00a0web page\u00a0to access this financial support.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have more than one child, you must\u00a0<strong>submit one application per child<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To complete the application, you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the name of your child\u2019s school and school board (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>your child\u2019s date of birth<\/li>\n<li>your banking information<\/li>\n<li>a valid email address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note: Parents already receiving\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/CvHWBeZReeUklerRF3EyIQ~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRgbKV2P0QnaHR0cDovL3d3dy5vbnRhcmlvLmNhL1N1cHBvcnRGb3JQYXJlbnRzVwdzY2hvb2xtQgoAAPZxi14WczXyUhlsZGVzb3VzYUBjaXJjbGVvZmNhcmUuY29tWAQAAAAC\">Support for Parents<\/a>\u00a0payments through direct deposit will be automatically eligible for this financial support and do not need to submit a new application.<\/p>\n<h3>How will I get the payment?<\/h3>\n<p>You will get the payment through direct deposit.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to provide banking information and require a cheque, you may submit a special request for one. Simply indicate this on the application.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that processing cheques may take up to several months from the date you apply, so if you have banking information, it is better to use that.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Where can I find resources to help my children learn at home?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you have school-aged children, the Government of Ontario has put together a list of resources to help them learn at home during the pandemic.
