Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Clients\/Family Members:<\/strong>\u00a0Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.<\/li>\n
  • Managers:<\/strong>\u00a0A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    1. Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.<\/li>\n
    2. The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.<\/li>\n
    3.       • “Throughout the pandemic, Meals on Wheels has given continuous & excellent service to our clients. Without pausing or other delays, they have revamped their thinking on the meals, on the delivery system, & on all procedures. As older volunteers were not available, as the supplier faced hardship, as all personal contact is limited, meals continued to be delivered. This is due to the excellent & resourceful leadership of Inna Dantchenko<\/strong>.” – Matie Brumer<\/li>\n
      • “Through the pandemic, the Meals on Wheels department has worked tirelessly to make sure that the clients had meals. This required extreme dedication & unpaid overtime.
