To Circle of Care Staff, Volunteers and Students:<\/p>\n
As we near Labour Day, after our second summer of COVID-19, I\u2019m writing to remind you about Circle of Care\u2019s vaccination policy.<\/p>\n
By October 15th, all staff, volunteers and students must present proof of full vaccination by sending a photo of their 2nd vaccine dose receipt to HRdept@circleofcare.com.<\/a><\/p>\n Many Circle of Care staff received their first doses back in February, over six month ago. Since then, millions and millions of people in Canada have been vaccinated safely, which helped us end the third wave. Now that the Delta variant is spreading, we can see evidence of the vaccine\u2019s effectiveness even more clearly \u2013 the vast majority of individuals hospitalized for COVID-19 now are unvaccinated. You can see more data about hospitalization rates and ICU rates here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The COVID-19 vaccines approved in Canada are safe, and they are the most important tool we have to slow the spread of this potentially deadly disease. To protect our clients, and each other, vaccinations are required. Circle of Care fully supports the vaccination mandate.<\/p>\n
