Caring for my husband during this end of life stage has been difficult. He has advanced cancer, a feeding tube, and could not be left alone.<\/p>\n<p>I am 65, and needed new orthotics because of the increased knee and foot problems, caused by going up and down stairs more often as I cared for him. I was in a lot of pain. But, your gift covered my new orthotics, and that meant that I was able to walk with much less pain. It would have been difficult to afford the orthotics because I am only able to work very few hours, so my income has been very low.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that your program will continue. I was thrilled to find the gift basket at my door.
