Appointments must be booked through our vendor, First Aid Care, and can be booked by clicking the button below or by calling 905-272-9214<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Important reminders \u2013 please read:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Please arrive at the training session 15 minutes before the class begins.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Gloves and surgical mask will be required for the duration of the class.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">After you have booked your appointment, please speak to your Service Coordinator if you need any scheduling arrangements and have clients that you will need to be booked off from to attend the CPR training. Please try to book a date\/time where you do not have client visits scheduled.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Your schedule will be blocked as \u2018unavailable\u2019 for you to attend the session. You do not need to use your phone to sign into the training.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">You will be paid a total of 4 hours for the training \u2013 this will be added to your schedule 1-2 weeks after the session has been completed and you will receive payment. The code will appear on your paystub as \u2018Miscellaneous\u2019<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">You may not be able to access the login link via the PSW mobile phones, and you may need to access the link using your personal phone or computer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">All bookings\/cancellations must be managed through the online portal. Getting vaccinated is especially important for people who are at a higher risk of serious complications from influenza. It is recommended that most people receive a dose of an influenza vaccine at the beginning of flu season in September or October and before the end of October, before the flu begins spreading. But, getting a vaccine later can still provide protection during the peak of flu season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Flu shots are available for free from your doctor or nurse practitioner, walk-in clinics, community health centers, participating pharmacies like Shoppers Drug Mart for example, and some public health units. Anyone who lives, works or attends school in Ontario is eligible for a free vaccine.
