This training is a requirement for all SPOs under Ontario Health, and as such, we have put together this e-learning module to build capacity and foster knowledge of Indigenous Culture across our agency.<\/div>\n<p><space><\/p>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">We are asking you all to complete this <strong>mandatory<\/strong> <strong>30 minute e-learning module<\/strong> through Dayforce that is focused on increasing awareness of historical and current Indigenous culture and the implications for health care professionals by <strong>July 23, 2024.<\/strong> You will be receiving an email notification shortly from Dayforce indicating that you have been enrolled in the course, and the course will be accessible by logging into Dayforce and selecting the \u2018Learning Tab\u2019.<\/div>\n<p><space> <\/p>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">The goals of this course are to:<\/div>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Explore the impact of racism within the healthcare system<\/div>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Examine the experiences of Indigenous people in healthcare<\/div>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Comprehend Canada\u2019s multicultural context in healthcare<\/div>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Investigate historical aspects such as Residential Schools and the Survivors Flag<\/div>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Understand the significance of Indigenous Truth &amp;
