Our Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) has determined that the hazard of\u00a0workplace violence\u00a0and harassment is\u00a0<strong>\u2018medium risk\u2019<\/strong> for our community employees, and as such, has created an annual training, risk assessment and communication campaign to increase awareness of these hazards and to promote employee safety and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>All employees have been enrolled into an e-learning course through Dayforce that focuses on\u00a0Workplace Violence\u00a0and Harassment. We would ask that all employees complete this\u00a0<strong>mandatory<\/strong> e-learning module by February 5, 2025.\u00a0 All employees that complete the mandatory e-learning will receive 30 minutes of <strong>paid training time<\/strong> (which will be paid out in March).<\/p>\n<div class=\"TypographyPresentation TypographyPresentation--m RichText3-paragraph--withVSpacingNormal RichText3-paragraph\"><a class=\"PrimaryLink BaseLink\" href=\"https:\/\/psw.circleofcare.com\/index.php\/2022\/10\/18\/dayforce-learning\/?highlight=dayfor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to access e-learning<\/a><\/div>\n<p>We would like to remind all employees, that any act of\u00a0violence\u00a0committed by or against anyone is unacceptable conduct that will not be tolerated.\u00a0 Every effort has been made to identify possible sources of\u00a0violence\u00a0and to implement procedures to control the risks.
