TIDES Training Coming Soon
Based on clinical evidence and best practices, TIDES (Trauma-Informed De-Escalation Education for Safety and Self-Protection) helps you prevent and respond to high-risk or emergency situations across care environments.
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) will tailor this training to meet your needs. They want to better understand the challenging client interactions that you encounter in your work.
Please complete this short, 3-minute survey by Friday, December 5. Your response will be anonymous.
Share Your Voice in the Global Workforce Survey
Just a friendly reminder to take a few minutes to complete the Global Workforce Survey. It’s your chance to share your thoughts about your workplace. Your feedback helps us learn what’s going well and what we can make even better.
The survey is anonymous (your name will not be shared). Thank you in advance for your participation!
Please complete the survey as soon as possible.
Health & Safety
Speak Up for Safety
If you feel that something is not safe to do, then please report your concerns to your CSS. Whether it’s about equipment, client mobility, or the Care Plan, we can address these concerns together—but only if you speak up.
Your voice can prevent injuries and improve care. Let’s look out for one another.
Please take some time to review the No Lift policy below.
Using Person-Centred Language with Clients
When you are working with your clients, it is important to be aware of the language that you are using with them. When speaking to clients, you want to make sure that you are using Person-Centred Language (PCL).
You should:
- Speak without judgement or bias
- Be specific
- Be respectful to the client at all times
Watch the video to learn more. Let’s work together to promote a respectful and safe environment through Person-Centred Language.

Ask Us Anything
What are the requirements for accepting a worker at Circle of Care? I have referred 3 of my friends to apply at our company. They are certified PSWs and have good work experience, but HR didn’t call them and didn’t hire them.
I’m receiving very few hours.
