Subject: Possible Delay in Paystub Delivery
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Payroll department is working hard to issue paystubs for all our unionized employees.
However, we want to prepare you for the possibility that over the coming weeks you may be delayed in receiving your paystubs by mail. Canada Post has expressed that they are running on a slower than normal delivery schedule due to an increase in their safety measures during the pandemic.
Please be assured that your pay was deposited into your bank account today, as per the usual schedule, and that all future payments will also occur on schedule.
