Dear Employee,
This memo serves to remind you that per Article 3.03 (a) of the Collective Agreement (July 1, 2018 –June 30, 2021): “In order to qualify as a full-time employee, members need to work 1,300 hours for the calendar year.”
All employees will need to work at a minimum 1,300 hours in the calendar year (between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020) in order to qualify for Full-Time status and:
- the 51 hours of sick time (Article 21.01)
- the $200 payment in lieu of benefits (Article 23.01)
- the $300 RRSP matching amount (Article 24.01)
Your Collective Agreement is available on the Circle of Care mobile phone as well as on the PSW Portal. If you require further information, please contact a union steward.
If you are interested in opening up your availability in an effort to meet the 1,300 hour criteria before December 31, 2020, please speak to your Service Coordinator.
