It’s an exciting day in Canada!

Today, December 14, the first COVID-19 vaccines were given to a small number of healthcare workers in Toronto and to residents at a Quebec nursing home.

Anita Quidangen, a Personal Support Worker who works at the Rekai Centres in downtown Toronto, was the first Ontarian to receive the vaccine. She and some of her fellow workers received the vaccine as a first step towards starting the vaccination process in Ontario.
