Checking Your Phone Regularly
We would like to remind all of our staff that as part of your job requirements, you are expected to check your voicemail, read messages from your phone’s message alert centre, and visit the PSW Portal on a regular basis. This is the ways in which we communicate with our PSWs & Homemakers, and provide you with up-to-date information. If you do not regularly check your phone for communication from Circle of Care, you are in violation of the Code of Conduct policy, and this can lead to progressive performance management. Our messages are shared with you to help you with your role out in the community and keep you informed about anything that may impact your job.
Leaving a Visit Early
We would like to clarify that you do not need to call the office if you’re leaving your visit between 10-15 minutes early. If you are leaving a visit much earlier than 15 minutes from the end of your scheduled visit, you need to call the office to confirm your visit as per our previous protocol.
First Aid & CPR Certifications
Please note that first aid & CPR certification has been extended and will remain valid until December 31, 2021. If your certification has expired or will expire in the upcoming months, please do not worry as we will not require any renewal at this time. When we begin to schedule renewal classes for first aid and CPR certificates we will notify you.
