Drink Up

Drink a cup of water every 20 minutes (or regularly), even if not thirsty

Avoid caffeine and sugary drinks

Cover Up

Wear light, loose-fitting clothing, UV rated sunglasses & a wide-brimmed hat

Protect

Apply waterproof & broad-spectrum sunscreen with a SPF 30 + to exposed skin

Re-apply every 2 hours or after sweating

Shield

Use umbrellas, trees or buildings to shield yourself from the sun

Sunburns can develop on cloudy days too

Cool Off

Take breaks to rest in the shade or in air-conditioned buildings or vehicles
