All PSWs and Homemakers must wear 4-point PPE during home visits with ALL clients. This is not optional. Wearing all the PPE is a mandatory part of your job. Not wearing all of the PPE that you are supposed to can lead to progressive discipline.
Four-point PPE includes:
• A mask you have received from Circle of Care
• Face shield or goggles
• Gown
• Gloves
We know that wearing this extra equipment makes your job harder. However, the Omicron variant spreads very easily, and wearing the correct PPE helps to keep you safe, and your clients safe during this very contagious time.
