Electronic Monitoring Policy & Attestation
Circle of Care has developed a new policy on Electronic Monitoring as a result of recent updates to the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA). Employers with 25 or more employees are now required to have a written policy on the electronic monitoring of employees and provide employees with a copy of the policy for review.
All employees are expected to review the policy through a mandatory attestation in Dayforce. Please log into Dayforce and complete this mandatory policy review by November 4, 2022. The policy is also available to review on the PSW Portal as a resource going forward.
How to Access Paystubs in Dayforce
The Dayforce mobile app provides a preview of the paystub, it does not provide the actual paystub. To print or save your actual pay stub you will need to access the Dayforce platform using a tablet or browser.
For assistance with logging into the Dayforce app and website you can use the below link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BKlaAnA3cuGIb3OcKGk0x4tohAXDweAw/view
Signs and Symptoms of Flu
The most common flu symptoms include running a fever, having a cough, sore throat, runny or stuffed nose, body or headaches, and chills and fatigue. Some individuals may also experience additional symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea. It is also possible to be infected with the flu and experience only respiratory symptoms without running a fever.
Sometimes it can be challenging to identify the causes of your symptoms, especially considering the presence of COVID-19 variants. When determining whether or not you do in fact have the flu, consider the severity and frequency of your symptoms. Comparatively to a cold where symptoms often come on gradually, flu symptoms will develop abruptly.
Experiencing a fever, headache, or chills are uncommon or rare when sick with a cold, but relatively common when you have the flu. In both cases, if you believe you are coming down with something you should stay home and take precautions to avoid spreading the virus to your family, friends and coworkers. If you think you may have contracted COVID-19, consider isolating and taking a RAT test if possible.
