Weather Application Installed on PSW Mobile Devices

As our employees travel within the community, it is important to access timely information from the Weather App to ensure precautions can be taken against environmental hazards. Our Joint Health & Safety Committee has been working with our IT department to install the Weather App on all PSW/Homemaker mobile devices. Environmental hazards such as extreme heat, air quality, and extreme winter weather can be present from time to time.

Please note that our rollout will be phased, which means that some PSWs/Homemakers will have access to the mobile app before others. We are hoping to have all devices updated with the Weather app by July 21st.

Summer Step Challenge: Ready, Step, Go!

For all staff participating in the Summer Step Count Wellness Challenge, please remember to log your step count for the previous week by clicking the button below.

*If you are having difficulties accessing the spreadsheet, try accessing the spreadsheet using your personal mobile phone or device, or email Nasrin (nalam@circleofcare.com) with your step count for each week, and we will enter your steps on your behalf.

Reporting Incidents of Workplace Violence, Hate and Discrimination

All employees are reminded that Circle of Care has policies and procedures in place that seek to reduce the risk, and the number of incidents, of Workplace Violence and/or Harassment, and Discrimination and/or Hate.

If you are experiencing any incidents of Violence, Harassment, Discrimination and/or Hate while at work or during working hours, please report this to your Supervisor, Manager, Director, or to Human Resources. We have established procedures to follow up with employees, clients, caregivers, and other individuals.

For more information, employees are encouraged to review our relevant policies below.

Ask Us Anything

How do I go about changing Coordinator? I have to change mine.

Personal Support Workers would need to reach out to the Coordinator’s supervisor to have a discussion on switching your Coordinator.
