Support or Step In For Circle of Care at This Year’s Toronto Waterfront Race

Circle of Care is excited to participate in this year’s Toronto Waterfront Marathon charity event on October 15. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support our programs!
Below you can read about how you can get involved and support this great fundraising campaign!

Event Details

Sign Up For the Toronto Waterfront Marathon

You can sign up to run or walk in the event. Remember, there is the 5K option which is easily walked. You will have to pay a fee to enter the race, with the cost dependent on the length of your run/walk.

You will then promote your participation, encouraging your friends, colleagues and family members to support your efforts. To sign up to participate:

Sign up guide: 

1. Go to https://raceroster.com/events/2023/65909/2023-tcs-toronto-waterfront-marathon?aff=TMJRW
2. Choose the length you’d like to run, and indicate whether you’re interested in a virtual or in-person marathon. We highly recommend in-person as our team will be there cheering you on and it will be a great opportunity to take some photos!
3. When filling out the form, you will see a section called ‘Teams’. To ensure you sign up for the Circle of Care team, please select “Yes, add this registrant to a team created by someone else”.
4. In the ‘Team Category’ section please select “Fundraising Team – TCS Charity Challenge”. You can then select Circle of Care team in the drop down menu.
5. Share the news about your participation in this great event on your social media networks!
   You can also submit any photos of yourself training or the photos of the event itself to tpikula@circleofcare.com and we will post it on this page and in our upcoming newsletters.

Support a Circle of Care Runner or the Organization

You can choose to support the folks that have signed up to run as part of the Circle of Care Team:

1. Go to https://raceroster.com/events/2023/65909/2023-tcs-toronto-waterfront-marathon?aff=TMJRW
2. On the left side of the page, you will see a section called “Fundraising Organizations” You can search for Circle of Care. Or click on ‘View Teams’ on the left side of the page and search for Circle of Care.
3. You can also choose to support just one specific participant on our team (for example, if you know your friend is running), in which case you can locate “Donate to Participant” on left side of the page.
