Congratulations to this Week’s Champions of Care!
This program is designed to recognize employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day duties, and who exemplify Circle of Care’s values.
Note: New nominations will be posted on Mondays.
Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:
- Clients/Family Members: Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.
- Managers: A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:
- Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
- The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
- The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.
- “As a Service Coordinator, Valentina Burman manages one of the largest caseloads and the largest group of PSWs at Circle of Care. She manages to not only stay on top of her caseload, but frequently steps in to help others, and to share her resources and expertise dealing with clients and PSWs. Whenever our team is in a tight spot, we can count on Val to come up with a creative option and solution. She is a joy to work with on extended shift and stressful weekends, always approaching every situation with a smile, with humour, and with a positive attitude.” – Marianna Piwoni
- “Aditya Matlani is so helpful to the Admin Team. When PSWs come to the office for IT support, he responds quickly as he understands that they are on a time crunch, either between clients or on their way home. He always greets them with kindness and is so patient. Thank you Aditya!!!” – Suzanne Marks
- “A big thank you to Sheree Roberts for her patience and willingness to work with me on the HPG. She took time between her workload and we worked together to watch the HPG. Sheree is a really good team player, and it’s always nice to work with her during the after-hours shift. Because of her, I had the chance to enter the details into EasyCare and she double-checked that everything was OK. Thanks Sheree!” – Valentina Burman
