Beyond Silence: e-mental Health Support Program
Circle of Care’s Workplace Well-being and Employee Engagement Committee is thrilled to announce a new mental health support program for all PSWs and Homemakers. The Beyond Silence App is a mental health ‘coach in your pocket’ for front-line health care employees. The app provides information and support for managing mental health at work, including support for your and support to help co-workers.
Employees are also able to access Peer Support, where you can reach out to a trained Peer Support Provider, either within Circle of Care, or externally at another health care organization. We currently have 6 Peer Support Providers enrolled and trained from Circle of Care! You can use the filters to find a good match with a Peer Support Provider and review their biography to learn more about them. You can book either a private phone call or a chat meeting, based on the time that works best for you. All calls are confidential – neither the Peer Support Providers or Circle of Care will have access to your name or contact number. You are able to access these services for free.
Download the App
We encourage you to download the Beyond Silence App onto your personal mobile phone. It’s available for both iOS and Android devices, and the best part is, it’s completely free on the app store! As we look out for your well-being, our IT team is currently in the process of installing the Beyond Silence app on your mobile work device, and this is expected to happen over the next several weeks, ensuring you have easy access to this valuable support whenever you need it.

Applause
Circle of Care values our employees and strives to recognize the work of exemplary staff whose efforts contribute greatly to the success of our organization. One of the ways that we do this is through Applause, our social and points recognition program*. Staff will be able to recognize or celebrate each other’s accomplishments in real time.
Supervisors or managers can also give points to staff whose exemplary work they wish to acknowledge. Staff may then use the points to redeem various items available in the Achievers catalogue.
You will receive 500 points when you activate and give out your first recognition.
*This program can be found on the Achiever’s platform.

Perkopolis Benefits Program
Circle of Care is proud to offer access to exclusive discounts on tickets, hotels and various other products and services to employees through our discount partner Perkopolis. This is a free, easy to use, and exclusive benefit program that provides you with access to a variety of entertainment offers, hotels, products, and services. You simply create an account, log into the website and add the product to your ‘shopping cart’. Through Perkopolis, employees also have access to discounted Home & Auto Insurance.
To access Perkopolis please do the following:
- Go to https://www.perkopolis.com/and click on ‘Sign In/Register’ at the top-right hand corner
- Click ‘Register’ on the right hand screen
- Enter your personal email address
- Monitor your inbox for an email from Perkopolis and click on the link to complete registration
- Insert your member ID Code (this will be CC+your employee ID), example CC1234
Please note that your employee ID is not your voicemail number. Your Employee ID will be outlined on your Circle of Care employee badge.
