Champions of Care: Week of January 25

Congratulations to this Week’s Champions of Care!

Note: New nominations will be posted on Mondays.

Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:

• Clients/Family Members: Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.
• Managers: A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:

1. Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
2. The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
3. The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.

Congratulations to this week’s Champions of Care nominees:

• “I want to express my deep gratitude for Alla Iularji, Holocaust Survivor Services Case manager. She is an extraordinary person and a professional individual, with a very kind soul. For several months, I could not correct the calculation mistake regarding my pension. I do not speak enough English to communicate and solve the issue myself, since my attempts with CRA were not possible and very complicated. Alla helped me with calls and translations, fixed the mistake and restored everything to its correct amount. I greatly appreciate the time and patience Alla has shown to me during this very difficult time. Alla is a treasure and Circle of Care should be proud to have such a magnificent worker!” – Client
• “I would like to nominate Natalie Zabolotsky for the Champions of Care Award. For her dedication, work ethic and person-centeredness approach she provides to clients and families she serves. I have worked with Natalie as co-chair on the North York Elder Abuse Network for the last 10 years. She is dedicated in providing elder abuse awareness in our communities.
