What is client information and who can access it?
All client information (i.e anything in the client record) is considered private and should only be accessed and shared by those involved in their care. This includes:
- Client name
- Address
- Phone number
- Diagnosis
- Care plan
How should client information be accessed and shared?
It is critical that client information should only be accessed and shared through secure ways, such as in EasyCare, the PSW App, and Circle of Care email @circleofcare.com
In which ways should I never share client information?
This is a reminder to all staff that client information should NEVER be shared via:
- Text or What’s App (work or personal cell phones)
- Personal email
- Social media
Shred any paper that may have client information on it.
