We’ve developed some tips to help keep you safe as you travel to and from your client visits:

Stay Home If You’re Feeling Unwell or Have Close Contact with a COVID+ Person

Most importantly, if you are feeling unwell or have come into contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not go out to work.

Cover Your Nose, Mouth and Chin with Your Mask At All Times

Your nose, mouth, and chin should all be covered by your mask at all times while you are indoors – this includes while riding on public transit vehicle or sharing a vehicle with another person. Ensure your mask fits correctly and is secured in place before entering a car or public transit vehicle.

Create Space and Maintain Distance

As much as possible, maintain distance from fellow riders on the TTC. Do not sit in seats that have been blocked off to maintain distance. When using a taxi, ride program, or carpooling, try to sit as far away from the other riders and avoid sitting in the front passenger seat. When weather permits, keep the windows open to ensure airflow.

Wash Your Hands Regularly

Try to avoid frequently-touched surfaces like door handles and subway poles, and sanitize or wash your hands before and after riding public transit or sharing a car. Make sure your hands are clean before putting on or removing your PPE.

Limit Your Exposure to Strangers

When using carpool method to get to work, try to share rides with the same person or small group of people to limit your exposure to strangers.

Leave Extra Time for Your Trip, When Possible

If possible, take extra time for your trip so that you are able to wait for a vehicle that is not too busy and will allow you to maintain distance, especially during peak transit hours. Avoid overcrowded streetcars, busses, and subways as much as you can.
