As a PSW at Circle of Care, your work phone is an essential tool to help you provide the best care for your clients. You use it to check in and out of visits, review your schedule and care plans, and stay in touch with your Service Coordinator.
The Client Services team would like to remind all PSWs and Homemakers about the PSW & Homemaker Schedule Policy.
Here are some highlights of the policy:
- Your phone must be charged, turned on, and logged into the PSW mobile app during your availability.
- To ensure you have the latest updates, check your schedule regularly throughout the day, especially before your shift, between visits, and as directed based on your work setting.
- You’re also expected to check your voicemail at least three times daily. If needed, you can access your schedule by calling the telephony system.
- Your work phone is for work use only—it should never be shared.
- Lost or stolen devices must be reported immediately.
Following these guidelines helps keep client care smooth and efficient. Failure to follow this policy may result in disciplinary action, so please make sure you’re using your phone responsibly.
