Congratulations to the Champions of Care Nominees for August!
This program is designed to recognize employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day duties, and who exemplify Circle of Care’s values.
Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:
- Clients/Family Members: Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.
- Managers: A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:
- Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
- The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
- The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.
Congratulations to the PSW/Homemaker Champions of Care nominees for August 2021:
- “I would like to thank PSW Julie Ann Cubos for being so attentive and for going above and beyond whenever she cares for me.” – Client
- “My mom has two wonderful PSWs: Hirut Beraki and Crisanta Cabrido. Hirut (Ruth) is so kind and very compassionate and I’m glad she’s one of my mother’s PSWs. And Crisanta is also wonderful with my mother! Circle of Care is great and has a great team, it makes stressful times so much easier!” – Client’s daughter
- “I am inspired by many of my PSWs on a daily basis, but today I’m very moved to mention our PSW Juliet Antwi. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the care she provides every day to our clients. She formed a wonderful rapport with our client and went above and beyond to help the client move into a long term care home. The client did not have the help that most people would get from their family. Juliet worked steadily for a week to help the client pack and then helped move her belongings out of the apartment and to her new, loving home. She works tirelessly and is always willing to say ‘what can I do to make this better for the client?’. It is nothing short of inspirational and makes me proud to be a part of Circle of Care.” – Tara Stickwood
- “I would like to thank PSW Rochelle Tria for going out of her way to help us with a client after a long day. Your dedication to clients and willingness to help does not go unnoticed. Thank you again Rochelle, we really appreciate it.” – Alicia Pelletier
