Congratulations to this Week’s Champions of Care!

This program is designed to recognize employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day duties, and who exemplify Circle of Care’s values.

Note: New nominations will be posted on Mondays.

Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:

  • Clients/Family Members: Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.
  • Managers: A manager can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:
  1. Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
  2. The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
  3. The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.

Congratulations to this week’s Champions of Care nominees:

  • “My homemaker Karen John is so excellent and I am so happy with her!” – Client
  • “I wanted to express my appreciation for Edie Weisbrod. I was on call two weeks ago and as you can imagine it was nothing short of a crazy busy time. On one of the days on the weekend we had a COVID exposure situation that was very time sensitive and involved numerous clients and staff. Edie was able to step in and provide us with much needed information and facilitated the process with connecting to some PSWs. When I asked Edie for some assistance she never missed a beat and asked how she could help. These four words were a godsend! I know that we often hear about complaints about on how we do things, but not of the success stories so I wanted to show my appreciation for the great work Edie has demonstrated.” – Sylvia McCallum
