We’re expecting a significant snowfall on Sunday (15–20 cm). We know winter weather can make getting around more difficult, and we want to take a moment to thank you for the important work you do, every day, and especially in challenging weather.
Please keep these key reminders in mind as you plan your day:
Safety first
-
Travel carefully, slow down, and give yourself extra time, whether you’re walking, driving or using public transit
Communication matters
-
If you’re delayed, please let your client know as soon as possible. A quick update goes a long way in reducing anxiety and helping clients feel secure. They still rely on essential personal care and support, especially during a storm
Support is available
-
If you have concerns about your route, delays, or getting out into the community, please reach out right away to your Supervisor or Coordinator for support and guidance. You are not alone.
Thank you for everything you do—for showing up, for caring, and for being dependable when it matters most.
Please take care of yourself, and stay safe this weekend.
