Preventing Injuries & Falls: Winter Safety
As we enter the winter months and anticipate more frequent snow fall, it is important to remember that snow and icy conditions can increase the risk of injuries and other accidents. Please review this video for some important tips to ensure your safety while you travel within the community.
New Meals on Wheels Refrigerated Van on the Road!
Circle of Care’s Meals on Wheels team is happy to announce that the MOW program has a new vehicle on the road.
The van features a refrigerated unit that will keep the inside of the van cool, allowing us to transport frozen meals throughout a wider service area. The outside of the van showcases our Circle of Care logo, a few photos of the meals we provide, and our phone number and website, which will hopefully help us attract new clients to the program.
The refrigerated van was purchased with support from a donation made by Shawn Kimel and Kate Schatzky. Next time you’re on the road, keep a lookout, and perhaps you’ll see our new van!
