Ask Us Anything
Why are PSWs not giving any breaks? Why is Circle of Care breaking all labour lawsuits?
According to the Employment Standards Act (ESA), employees are entitled to one 30-minute break after every five hours of consecutive work. Or you can take the 30 minutes in two separate 15-minute breaks. The employer is not obligated to pay you for any break time that you receive. Additionally, a break does not count towards your daily hours worked. If you have concerns about your current work schedule, please reach out to your coordinator to make adjustments.
Does Circle of Care give out a retirement package?
Circle of Care does not have a retirement package. We do however, have a Group RRSP Matching Plan. If you contributed to this Group RRSP plan, a RBC representative will contact you regarding your contributions upon your retirement. Please be sure to inform the HR Department with a written response (i.e letter/email) confirming your retirement date. You can forward this letter/email to our general HR inbox HRDept@circleofcare.com
