How to use the app

The app is built with Self Learning Guidance built in! Click on the question mark icon, choose a walkthrough, and you will be able to learn how to use the app while you are using it! That way you are being trained on what you need to know, when you need it!

If you are having issues accessing the question mark icon, log out and log back in to the application.

If you are using the walkthroughs and still having difficulty completing an action in the app, (ordering supplies, checking in, etc.), contact our IT Helpdesk.

  • Brand new look and feel
    • New Design Focused on Client Visits and Scheduling
    • Calendar View with complete date for Current Day
    • Swipe, Slide, and tap your way through a whole new experience
    • New Color Codes in app to better visualize information: Blue, Green, Amber, Red

  • 2 Step Process Client Visit Check-In
    • If the client is unavailable and leaves a note for PSWs (except hospital stays), a call in to the office no longer required.
  • Duties List and ALC for each Client Visit
    • Clients that have EasyCare Care Plans (Duties list) will present these on the new PSW Mobile App and also an ALC Check
    • Each Duty Needs to be Checked off to successfully check out of the visit. Statuses that can be used include:
      • Completed, Client Refused, PSW Not Delegated, Duty Done by Client/Family already – not required today, Duty is flexible duty & Other
  • ALC Check
    • If there are sudden changes with the client, the ALC Check within the app will notify operations  and send a message to the responsible CSS for Action
  • Request Centre: Request supply orders, statutory holidays, & vacation
    • New Reorder button when ordering supplies
    • Statutory Holidays automatically recognized when submitting a vacation request
