Congratulations to the Champions of Care Nominees for October!
This program is designed to recognize employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day duties, and who exemplify Circle of Care’s values.
Nominations can be submitted in one of two ways:
- Clients/Family Members: Compliments from clients or family members that are received through the call centre or a manager will be entered as a nomination provided there is enough detail to do so.
- Managers/Peers: A manager or peer can recognize someone for one of the following reasons:
- Recognizing that an employee has taken initiative to support, assist or lead a project or difficult task.
- The employee has made an extra effort was reflected in their overall performance.
- The person has actively demonstrated one of Circle of Care’s values.
Congratulations to the PSW/Homemaker Champions of Care nominees for October 2021:
- “I don’t have any family here with me, but I feel as though PSW Lubaba Mohamed is my daughter. Initially, she took care of my husband. But, he passed away. That’s when she started caring for me. Lubaba is a very darling lady who I love talking to and listening to her stories and her unique life experiences. It has been a very unique learning experience for me getting to know Lubaba. To say that she goes beyond the call of her duties is an understatement. She has always helped me far more than expected.” – Client
- “PSW Bavakan Muradyan took on the initiative and agreed to work with a very challenging client who has a very difficult personality that many other PSWs would not work with. She changed her schedule to make herself available in order to accommodate this client.” – Yulia Ioffe
- “I would like to express my gratitude to Circle of Care for your help that you provide to older adults, that help us stay home and not end up in long term facilities. PSW Meraldin Mendoza, is a person of great character. She has been an incredible help to me during this difficult time.” – Client
- “PSWs Jasmin Salvador and Shellamate Parry-Smith are the most wonderful human beings I’ve ever met. Jasmin and Shellamate always goes above and beyond for my aunt and I’m very grateful to have their support. And Shellamate is a such a godsend to have on nights!” – Client’s niece
