In your role as a PSW/Homemakers, musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are common because you perform client transfers, lifting, repositioning, bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding.
Circle of Care and the Joint Health & Safety Committee are here to ensure your safety.  We have reviewed the Safe Operating Procedures for MSD prevention, created tips and resources.
Please review the resources on the PSW portal, so that you know what proper body movements you should practice.
Please complete the mandatory Musculoskeletal Disorders course in Dayforce.
  • Approx. time to complete – 20 minutes. You will have until June 30, 2023 to complete the training course, and payment will be issued in July for anyone who has completed the course.
