The nomination period for Circle of Care’s Champions of Care Awards is officially open! The nomination period will close on Wednesday April 30, 2025.
The Champions of Care Awards recognize and highlight employees who go above and beyond in their roles and embody one or more of Circle of Care’s organizational values: community, respect, excellence and dignity.
New for this year:
Nominations will be open for 2 months (March & April). In addition, we will be soliciting nominations directly from clients/families and members of the community.
Nominations are open to all staff, members of the community, and clients/families. We encourage you to nominate a fellow employee. To do so, please fill out the form that is linked below.

Who is eligible for the Champions of Care awards?
All employees of Circle of Care are eligible to win an award, except for members of the Senior Management Team. Directors, VPs and the CEO are not eligible for these awards.
Who determines the winners of the awards?
The senior management team will vote for the winners of the awards after the nomination period ends.
How are the awards changing now that we have a new vision, mission and values?
Each Champions of Care award previously focused on one of our values (e.g., Award for Equity). To ensure that we can fully capture contributions that go above and beyond from across the organization, we have decided to open up the awards and make them more general. Winners will now be given the title of Champion of Care Award winner. We will continue to award a Champion of the Year Award.
To maintain a focus on our values, nominators will be required to provide information about the character and actions of their nominee that align with our new values.
Can I nominate one of my colleagues?
Yes, of course! You can submit individual nominations for as many colleagues as you would like who you feel have gone above and beyond in their roles and who embody one or more of our organization values of community, respect, excellence, and dignity.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in June and highlighted at our annual party.
