Staff Party Reminder: Get Ready to Celebrate Tomorrow!

Our staff party is going to be a great event! If you have registered, just a reminder that it is happening tomorrow (Wednesday, June 24, 2026).

Upcoming Events that May Impact Transit and Traffic

FIFA World Cup

  • When: June 12-July 2, 2026
  • Details: The FIFA World Cup will take place in Toronto for these dates, around the BMO fields at Exhibition Place, Lakeshore, Gardiner, and the Downtown Core. Expect spillover congestion and traffic into King and Queen St., as well as in the Downtown West area. (Look below for specific game days.)

FIFA World Cup Game Days

  • Tuesday, June 23 – 7 p.m.
  • Friday, June 26 – 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 2 – 7 p.m.

Toronto Jazz Festival

  • When: June 21-30, 2026
  • Details: Yorkville and Downtown area will have extra traffic and be very busy.

Pride Festival Weekend

  • When: June 25-29, 2026
  • Details: Downtown will be affected. Parts of Yonge St. and Church St. will be closed. (Thousands of people for the parade.)

With more people using bikes and e-bikes, please remember to stay safe when travelling in the community.

June is Men’s Health Month. It’s a great time to learn more about the health of men and boys.

Men’s Health Check

  • The Canadian Men’s Health Foundation offers a free 10-minute online check. It looks at 8 important areas of health, including mental health, and you will get a report based on your answers, along with tips to stay healthy.

Free Online Support

  • HeadsUpGuys provides free courses you can do on your own to build skills for managing stress, handling emotions, and improving relationships.
  • They offer self-check quizzes with quick results, helpful tips, and the option to retake them to track your progress.

Why It Matters

  • Many men are struggling but do not always talk about it. Sharing these tools with a friend, partner, or coworker can help them take the first step toward better health.
