When to Call the Safety & Risk Phone Line

Follow the steps in the guide above to connect with the Safety and Risk Issue phone line.

Use this phone line to report:

  • A client who was Not Seen Not Found, and any Not Seen Not Found follow-ups.
  • Any client safety or risk issue that happens during a visit, or that a client tells you about during a visit (for example, a fall).
  • Any staff safety concern.

Please report these issues as soon as possible.

Reminders & Announcements

HR Reminder: Hours Needed for Full-Time Status

You must work 1,300 hours during this calendar year (January 2026 – December 2026) to qualify for or keep your full-time work status in 2027. (As stated in Article 3.03 of the Collective Agreement.)

If you would like to work more hours or increase your availability, please contact your Service Coordinator.

Upcoming Events that May Impact Transit and Traffic

FIFA World Cup Fan Festival (downtown viewing zone)

  • When: June 12-July 19
  • Details: Downtown area will be extra busy, so expect local traffic and TTC crowding.

Beaches International Jazz Festival

  • When: July 3-26
  • Details: More traffic around Queen Street East – east of Don Valley Parkway (expect TTC to be busier in this area).

Pine Valled Drive Closure

  • When: July 3-August 3
  • Details: Pine Valley Drive from Rutherford Road to Major Mackenzie Drive West (Vaughan), will be closed.

BIG on Bloor Festival

  • When: July 18-19
  • Details: Bloor Street West will be closed to cars between Dufferin Street and Lansdowne Avenue. (Over 160,000 visitors.)

Supertri, 10KTO, & Toronto Triathlon

  • When: July 26
  • Details: Road Closures
    • The Gardiner Expressway (Eastbound Lanes Only): From the Humber River all the way east to the Don Valley Parkway.
    • The Don Valley Parkway (Northbound Lanes Only): From the Gardiner Expressway merge all the way north to Eglinton Avenue East. All northbound on-ramps will be closed.
    • Lake Shore Boulevard West (Eastbound Curb Lane Only): From Budapest Lane to New Brunswick Way/ Remembrance Drive.

Start Saving with Our Group RRSP Matching Program

The Group RRSP Matching Program helps you save money for retirement. When you contribute to your RRSP through the program, Circle of Care will also contribute money.

  • If you are full-time, Circle of Care may contribute up to $300 per year.
  • If you are part-time, Circle of Care may contribute up to $150 per year.

To qualify, you must have worked at Circle of Care for at least 12 months by December 31 of the contribution year.

Joining the program is optional. If you would like to join, please contact Payroll at payroll@circleofcare.com.
